Hallford has 25 years of experience working in the criminal justice arena and has taught criminal justice at both Indiana University and the University of Phoenix.

Timothy is the founder and President of the New Mexico Interlock Distributor's Association and CEO of Adobe Interlock, LLC, the leading interlock provider in New Mexico. He was appointed to the Ignition Interlock and New Technology Task Force by New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson. He also serves as a lobbyist at the New Mexico Legislature, working to get cutting-edge legislation passed using new technologies to increase road safety.
